Sawyer Funeral Service was originally established in Marlow in 1925. An independent family run business, which continued to be run by husband and wife team, Don and Marjorie Sawyer, who lived in a flat above the business on West Street, Marlow. After Don died, Marjorie continued to run the business with her daughter Anne. Sawyer Funeral Service finally closed it's doors in 2011, prior to Marjorie Sawyer's death in 2012.
